Try not to worry mate, there isnt much they can do without taking force and resulting in criminal charges.

It sounds as if its more talk than anything, but I can see you dont want to test the boundaries just in case.

GET PACKING!

charliecat · 26/06/2005 17:50

what started all this mieow I have read bits of threads and its awful

sparklymieow · 26/06/2005 18:17

My mum asked them to be quiet over the fence at 9pm when she was babysitting, the older son then came and threaten her, two days later they threatened my DH.

OMG!!!!! someone has emailed me about a house exchange in Bolton (where SIL is) how spooky!!

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 27/06/2005 18:34

what to do!!!!! [confused look]

OP posts:
nutcracker · 27/06/2005 18:37

Oh blimey, bugger.

One thing though and you need to check this. Your council may have to inform the potential new tenannt about the prob with your neighbours otherwise they could get into trouble if they don't and then neighbours suffer as you have.

We had the same prob and the h/a said that we/they didn't have to inform anyone.
As it happens they have now had to put ort old flat as available to childless couples only because it's not considered suitable for children because of the noise prbs with neighbours.

On another note, i thought you had gone off the idea of Bolton ??

sparklymieow · 27/06/2005 18:40

I did, because the coucnil have gven me so many points here, i know it won't be long. BUT Bolton was our fall back plan...... and TBH I don't think I would like to put another disabled family here myself

OP posts:
nutcracker · 27/06/2005 18:41

That was also my prob. I didn't want to be the one responsible for putting another family in the same position as me.

nutcracker · 27/06/2005 18:41

In your position as it is now, I would discount Bolton.

sparklymieow · 27/06/2005 18:42

and she said that she has two disabled kids one is in a wheelchair

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 27/06/2005 18:43

mmmm how long does an exchange take?? I think it may take longer than the council moving us tbh

OP posts:
nutcracker · 27/06/2005 18:43

Hmmm well i wouldn't then i'd feel too guilty tbh.

I mean if you make her fully aware of why you need to move and she is fine with it then thats up to her, but otherwise no.

Obviously it is up to you though.

nutcracker · 27/06/2005 18:44

Not sure but they can take a while yes.

I really think you'd be better sticking with the council moving you.
