We leave on Saturday but I need to be packed and sorted for tomorrow afternoon (cases being picked up by dps mum who is picking him up from work and taking him to airport so I dont have to struggle with luggage and kids)

Im not really very organised and keep thinking I have forgotten things.

What might I have forgotten?

swimming goggles, sarong, cossies, sunglasses, hats, lotion,

...camera, books, local currency, E111...still thinking

sun cream. clothes. bottle of washing liquid.

DS microwaved our digital camera 2 weeks ago and havent replaced it

Still havent got money changed

E111 forms were burnt in my car fire and havent replaced them

Im officially useless

passport, tickets, kids fave toys, food for first night if you are self catering (or at least tea, marmite and milk)

im taking forumla for ds even tho he doesnt have it now = not sure about the milk there, its going to take up sooo much space!

i would take formula - we didnt for ds when he was one and wished we had
take some cartons

buy a couple of big white cheap t shirts from tesco for ds to wear in the pool etc to cover up
ds lived in about 3 tshirts
also it doesnt matter if they get ruined by sunblock

Yeah, thats what I think is missing. Big t shirts for both of them on top of their "outfits"

For me I have 15 tops and 10 bottoms. Do you think this is enough? I have resisted the urge to pack my dressy stuff as I know we wont be going anywhere posh!

I have got 15 cartons here! but will they pad the suitcase out too much? What if they explode!?

As long as you have passports, tickets and money - you will be fine. Anything else is a bonus. Have a wonderful time where-ever you may be heading.

also, i dont know if ds has a bottle still but if he does, dont pre fill them or they will explode!!!

t shirts for over swim suits to cover shoulders etc - get a size too big
tesco have them dead cheap costs about 1.50

Im getting confused as to what I have packed, what is still to pack and what is still to buy!

As long as you've got your ticket and passports you can buy everything else there. Don't get yourself up a height about it!
