Have made an appointment to go to relate, we've been having a few problems which we both seem to have just been ignoring.... well they haven't gone away and i'm starting to feel I want things sorted out once and for all. Didn't tell dh that I was making an appointment as I guessed he wouldn't be too pleased, but had hoped once I told him, he would come, but he has told me tonight that he isn't, so it looks like I shall be going alone.

The other thing is I thought that you just paid what you could afford...not any more...now it's £40 an hour each session!!! Just interested if anyone else had to pay this?

£35 here (guildford way), but they will do sliding scale down to as low as £10.

guide was £25 (Midlands- and this is 8 yrs ago) but emphasis was on ability to pay. As we were both working, we felt it was right to pay the £25.... but I don't remember them being judgemental about it or anything.
