'phoned me today to say he got back yesterday from his year in Italy. It took him an hour to get here, but I'm so glad he did. FGS, I've had a few boyfriends in my time, but does anyone else have one that's stood the test of time?

rickman, yes, we are. Really boring story, but when my birthday hit on monday, my sister bought me a new CD/something-else-that-I've-yet-to-fathom player. There's this song (and this will show my age, but I was young!) on a Kate Bush CD, called Hounds of Love. I haven't been able to stop listening to it since Monday, but there's a bit in it about putting arms around you.

Sigh. I loved it.

And when he arrived this afternoon, and cuddled me, he said 'Carla, you haven't been held like this for a long time, have you?'
