What would you spend a £500 gift on?

I got a £500 cheque in the post today from my lovely Grandparents as a wedding present.

Cant decide whether to

a) Pay some debt off with it (sensible but boring)
b) Put it towards new car (sensible but less boring)
c) Buy a new over (our current one burns at the back)
d) Buy something lovely

GO ON HOLIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmm maybe you could put half to the sensible ones and spent the rest on something lovley for the family???

I would bank it until I could definatley decide.

We go on holiday a week on Saturday so that is already sorted!

pay off debts... but that's me.

I would use it for something specific, otherwise it will just get frittered away. If you need a new oven buy one. It's practical but you need it and with £500 you should have something left over for a little something else.

a) - paying off debts will make life in general more fun as you'll have more money in the long run for fun!!

Don't ask me I would fritter it away. Or pay off my debts.

I would drink it away on Holiday!!!!!

Buy a new oven or something lovely - so as you have something which you know your Grandparents gave you ... thinking about it, I'd spend some of it on something nice that I'd always have and know it was a wedding pres from my grandparents.

Whatever you decide ... enjoy!!

I would buy a new oven... and put what's left over towards the car (unless you spend it all on oven!)
