I think this is a great site - a friend mentioned it to me.

In your various comments I've seen a couple more good ones mentioned, either informative, (like welfed.com, which is great), or shopping, like gltc.co.uk ( I think!)

Does anyone elso know of any good sites, be it interesting gadgets, how to be a good (house)wife and mother!?

www.deliaonline.com is Delia Smith's site and has a superb search facility for recipes - really excellent. Also www.bbc.co.uk/food for recipes.

For cheap books, The Book People is great.

www.cd-wow.com is great for CDs and DVDs. Most CDs (including current releases) are £8.99 which includes P&P. Usually arrive within a week.

www.bbc.co.uk is great for all sorts of things, they have a recipe library where you can input the ingredients and they find a recipe, or you can ask for a specific chef. The CBeebies pages are excellent too and the news & weather pages get plenty of viewing in our house.

Don't know if these have been mentioned but I love, dutyfreeperfume.com and buycosmetics.com (I think they are both .com, rather than .co.uk).

Also, freelollies.com is great for cheap, new-but-not-reached-the-shops clothes for kids.

www.netmums.com are a series of local websites based all around the country with local info on what to do, where to go, education, local support groups etc. I edit my local site, in fact if there isn't a site in your area you can volunteer to do one and there is a small one off payment for doing so.

It was great fun setting up my site.
