i have just rung playmobil and the lovely lady said they are starting their damaged box sale prob 20th of htis month with emails sent out poss on 19th.

if anyone gets the email, as mine is dicky, could you really really kindly pop an update on this thread as to whats being sold so i can nosed for dd's christmas present

one good turn and all that... !!

Yes there is a recycling truck, for £18.99 - no plane or nativity set that I can see, though (although there are a couple of airports)

Yes recycling truck can often be found on sale, we got it from Tesco last year for £15. We have had a lot of airport stuff from the damaged box sales though a lot cheaper.

I think from what I cans ee, the biggest discount is a soccer game, which is half price from 49.99 down to 25. It doesn't look that great though...some of their kits are excellent value, while some seem a bit lacking in substance.

I forgot to mention there is a hospital reduced, it's something like 79.99 down from 99. Worth it if you were after it anyway.

The soccer game looks rubbish, IMHO. The whole football theme is the only Playmobil request I have ever resisted from DS.

Lots of vehicles - how about a fire engine (3182) for £39.99? Too many others to list - ariport vehicle, Delivery van, container truck....

Did everyone get the email in the end? I know this sounds really greedy but is anyone else a little disappointed in the reductions? The last sale had sbout 50% off the prices, whereas these ones are similar to the prices on Amazon.

I got the container truck and the harbour boat. I wanted the DHL van and the excavator, which had both already gone, so I got a bit panicked! Oh well, hopefully the DSs will like those two.

oh, I did have a secondary request for the recycling truck, but that had gone. But my initial hope was for the farm, so I feel it was ultimately a success!

I didn't bother, there was nothing we wanted badly enough to make it worthwhile.

The cheapest way for me to get the plane and nativity set seems to be from playmobil itself. It comes to over £50 so is free delivery making it cheaper than Amazon.

if you put playmobil jet plane into google then click 'shopping' at the top it tells you everywhere you can get it (with a price excluding postage). I've found it for £29 plus £4 postage at a site called t4toys.info

It's £33 on Amazon plus £6 postage and £35 I think on playmobil site with free postage if you get the order up to over £50
