Where can I buy wide fitting trainers for my daughter ?

Hi, my daughter is 4.5 years old and in a size 12G. She's just had Start-rite school shoes, slippers, wellies and ballet shoes and now she needs trainers for P.E at school.
I don't really want to spend too much so wondered if there are any cheeper trainers which come up wide?

my DD is a g fitting but have found trainers with velcro fastenings come up wide enough so tend to buy off the shelf in the supermarket or the cheaper shoe shop, just try on in shop and check the fitting. Trainers are the only thing I don't buy from clarkes.

Thanks, I'll have a look and try some on her. The only problem is, she's asked for the ones with the little dolly in the heel. I will try to persuade her.

UMBRO are wide. I got some for £10 at sports direct. dd takes a G/H fitting and school insists on lace-ups.

Do not buy the clarks shoes with the dolly in the heel. You will regret it. They will fall to bits. In a matter of days.

3littlefrogs- No way! I must admit though, I looked at the school shoes with the dolly in the heel and they looked quite cheep (even though they're not cheep). I didn't know they were that bad though.
I've always bought Start-rite as they are much better quality.
Now every child in her class has the dolly shoes, she wants them too. I will definatly not be bying them though.

I just can't fathom who thought shoes with a dolly in the heel would be a good idea! Imagine all the children in assembly or whatever, instead of listening to the teacher they are all taking out their dollies - swapping them - losing them........Nightmare.

I think they will go to any lengths to sell shoes.
