Would it be incredibly bad of me?

I really need to get my hair cut and coloured but have no one to have DS whilst I do so. Would it be really bad of me to bring him along and sit him down with a portable DVD player and some favourite DVDs?

I took DD once and she played on her DS for two solid hours. She loved it!!

You know it wouldn't

Which bit are you worried about? The hair colouring? I don't think it'll contribute to global warming too much....

PuppyMonkey · 29/09/2009 14:50

Mind you, she was about seven. How old is your ds?

The DVD part

Ohhhh! I didn't even notice that bit!

It's just I'm sure I remember someone on here moaning that they would be annoyed if they went to the hairdressers and someone's child was sat there watching dora or the like.

I'd imagine only thing they might object to is the sound of the DVDs playing; as a customer I wouldn't want to listen to your DS's film mixed in with the music they usually have on; could DS wear earphones? If not take some colouring books instead!

What's the matter with DVDs? Better than Radio One blasting out, which our hairdresser sometimes has! Earphones a good idea though!

Even if the sound was down very low danceaway?

I think my friends got some of those over the ear headphone I could maybe borrow.
