Can dogs sense epileptic seizures?

Someone with epilepsy, my BIL works with who lives alone has a dog, he apparently lets him know when a seizure ( a particular way the dog bark)is about to start therefore he gets himself into position to prevent him hurting himself

Anyone else heard of this?

Yes I have. Google it. They are called seizure assistance dogs or something.....

Yes I've heard of it

My cat gets very cuddly if I'm likely to have one. (not scientically proven but shes normally asleep upstairs unless I'm feeling dodgy)

Yes someone I know has one as her DH has epilepsy. They are very clever.
