I've been asked by our community police if I'd like to set up at neighbourhood watch in our area. I'm fairly keen but very very busy with full time work, kids, animals etc. However, I am not one for just moaning more one for doing something about stuff iyswim.
We have had some trouble with older teenagers recently and a few odd men hanging around so there is certainly need for something and quite a few concerned residents.
Would the meetings be in my house? It's quite small and I have visions of half the neighbourhood being crammed in - I would do this though if have to.
Should I ask the parents of the main troublemakers to be involved as I think there are several neighbours who haev already called the police on them and I'd rather have them on side than a vigilante group against.
