My local group seems to be very active, which is good. I joined it to get rid of stuff rather than to place 'wanted' ads and so far it has been brilliant! I applied to join late on Thursday and was accepted by Fri am, I've placed 4 offered ads so far and 2 of them have had loads of polite reponses saying that they could collect asap. I placed an ad for a bag of DD's clothes about 30mins ago and I've got a lady colecting them later today! Hurrah!
DH was v sceptical about it working but even he is v pleased that we seem to have had so much good fortune on our first outing.
