blog or twitter: which one makes the best advertising tool?

Anyone got any ideas? Can you put advertising on either/both?

You can, but obvioulsy you have the get hits on your blog or followers on Twitter for it to be useful. Are you trying to reach people who know you or the masses?

The masses. Just thinking that it's probably worth a try but not sure which one is the better option.

Well personally I use Twitter to advertise me blog if that helps any?

I think so, yes. And i think that it is better to use Twitter to atract people to your blog and then advertise there. otherwise it feels like spam and people stop following you.
