ANyone that has direct contact with children, young people, people with disabilities and the elderly in a caring or advisory capacity would be my guess. So I would imagine anyone working for Social Services, a charity or similar would be classed as a social care worker.

social care workers from the GSCC (General Social Care Council) website.

So those who work in day care centres as well as those making home calls.

I work with special needs children, a number of them have already had it but i am sure you know most mainstream children are awful at washing.

And before anyone jumps i know not all mainstream do.

There are obvious exeptions.
