its dd2 buggy which we dont use as much atm, but still use it regularly. sis wants it to take on holiday abroad. i'm worried about it getting damaged or stolen, as its one i really like and dont want to lose. i feel like i'm being mean if i say no, but i really cant afford to lose it. and if dh goes in hospital that fortnight i need it as it fits in my parents car easily.

explain that youd like to hang onto it in case your dh needs to go into hospital, im sure she will understand. if she just wants it for holiday could she not get one of those cheap little strollers that dont recline?

misdee · 22/05/2005 15:40

she wants one that reclines slightly. i told her kiddicare have some cheaper than mothercare.

Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 15:56

was just wondering sparkly, if you want to lend you sister the buggy, i would be more than happy to send you a buggy to borrow, which would be suitible, i run an ebay shop and have heaps, and some second hand ones and ones I have used and so cant sell as new.

misdee · 22/05/2005 16:00

SC, do u have a cheap slightly reclining stroller similar to a triumph? i could point other sis to your ebay shop. they leave on the 13th tho.

Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:03

if anyone is interested, my shop is called no nonsense nursery goods, my ebay name is sassy_sally1972, ive got at the mo, the bog standard kingswood siesta with the fixed back, and the graco citisport pushchair in 2 colours thatsreally lightwieght and reclines fully, i also have 2 used m and p freestylers and and m and p pliko which i havent listed yet, i havent listed all my buggiesyet so bear with me!

Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:12

misdee have some triumphs which i havent listed yet, but they arent as cheap as you would prob want, ido the kingswood one that reclinesslightly for 25 that incs raincover. magnolia, at the mo, i have,2 mamas and papas freestylers which i have only just got so havent listed, which are lovely, and one mamas and papas pliko which is a really nice one with footmuff etc, i havent listed any of these yet as have only just received them, misdee, i would be more than happy to lend a buggy to save shelling out if its just for a holiday

misdee · 22/05/2005 17:14

SC i'll pass that info onto my sister, how much would postage be for a buggy? her dd is 2yrs old but very little.

OP posts:
Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:18

depends on size most are 9.99 small little strollers i charge 6.99, i have a kingswood siesta stroller left in my shop if shes interested, it doesnt recline though, but if her dd is 2 is that a prob? but she is more than welcome to borrow my used kingswood which is only 4 weeks old or if you want to lend your i would be happy to lend you my used graco citisport, new last week, display model i call it! ie i have been using it!!!!!!!!!!

Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:19

didnt mean to shamelessly advertise

misdee · 22/05/2005 17:30

graco citisport doesnt support dd2 weight. she is now 40lb and the its a nightnare to push. i use my citisport for dd3. for small trips out and about i take the triumph for dd2 and a sling for dd3. thanks for the offer.

i really dont know what to do. she'll probably think i'm being mean by not lending mine out.

OP posts:
Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:32

would a pliko be any good??? i guess i could lend you a triumph

Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:34

the only other thing i have is aprincessstroller, one of those pink ones from mothercare, if your sister hasa boy she can happily borrow the blue cat stroller i had for ds2, i bought it when preg with dd2 so not old, it reclines slightly, suitible from 3 months, blue with a cat on it from mothercare.

misdee · 22/05/2005 17:35

she has a pilko. obviously she doesnt want to take hers grr. would u lend a triuphm to her? if she doesnt return it then sting me for the cash. she might even buy it afterwards as she does like mine.

OP posts:
Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:40

tell you what, if she doesnt want the blue cat buggy, i could lend you the new triumph and she could borrow yours but otherwise i dont mind loaning one as long asshe makes sure she has adequate insurance to cover lost itemsand pays postage, not a prob.

Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:40

unless she could pick up, where are you all??

Spacecadet · 22/05/2005 17:41

i have to admit, the maclarensare great, i have an xt and its a dream to push

misdee · 22/05/2005 17:42
