Etiquette of putting photos up on facebook

My account is set to private so only my friends can see my photos. I want to put some photos up of various things that have happened recently - a wedding, DS' birthday party, picnic in the park etc etc

If you had photos of yourself and your kids on your own facebook profile would you mind if I put some up of you and your kids on mine?

I wouldn't mind, but maybe email first?

I think it's cool

I always check with friends or family first if I'm going to put pictures with anyone else or their cildren in as I know some friends aren't into fb
