Money, how much comes in each month?

This is a rather touchy subject and I wanted to change my name for it but couldn't work out how to.

The question is, how much money each month comes into your household and out of that how much is your mortgage and other important stuff that has to be paid.

How much are you left with for food, meals, entertaining and clothes?

How much do you save for a rainy day and how much do you save for hoidays?

Custardo, I must apologise, see what a couple of drinks and a late night waiting up for the washing machine to finish (yes really sad isn't it?) can do for you. DH laughed hillariously that I had even tried to answer your question. The reason I felt I could answer was that DH himself has done this although this was when he was in the process of setting up his own business and his employer (short-term contracts) was not his only client. Apparently to claim travelling expenses you must be working for more than one client. Anyway I will shut up now and slink back off to cloth nappies and breastfeeding where I belong!
