Was talking to someone I know and she is quite offended by these adverts.

I must admit when I say the billboard saying something like "Save your money girls, for your driving lessons" I almost wet myself laughing as thought it was quite funny.

What are your views.

I remember people doing their nut over the Iron Brew ads and that.

Ditto - Breeze. I think they are funny.

Do you remember the Benetton adverts?? The scandal over them was hilarious! One of them showed a Nun and Priest snogging!!

Haven't seen them but they sound funny to me too!

Haven't seen this one I loved the Irn Bru ad with the mum b/feeding and the baby saying "Mum's been on the Irn Bru again" but I believe that one caused loads of complaints.

I think they're funny. I like the "do not feed the birds" one. I think they're intended to be provocative, like the FCUK posters.

I must say that I hadn't seen the Yorkie ad until someone gave ds2 an easter egg that said Not For Girls. He thought it was hilarious and kept pointing it out to dd aged 7, who got quite upset at the thought that they make chocolate that girls can't eat! It was difficult to explain to her what it was all about, and not easy to ignore, so on balance, I would now say that yes, the ad annoys me!

Think they are funny! Must say I don't like them anyway though - the blocks are too big to bite off.

Interesting, CP - "the blocks are too big to bite off" - could it be that they're Not For Girls then?
