small things, as soon we'll be packing them and moving them 70miles away

was going to get a seesaw but mum says to wait and see what garden we're going to end up with..sensible.

I am looking into getting myself a ukulele to learn and teach dd.

busy time with dh being off.
been back at SeaLife today, saw an awesome thunderstorm breaking right overhead. sat up on the observation deck under canopy and watched for a while.

Have just been all over trying to do stuff while weather was good

welll, when i got relieved from my my night duty tolf them i wouldnt be in to do my shift today, (meant to be on a 9-7 all day, so will be down £200 in aug pay packet nowgutted)still feel crappy. i am slowly convincing myself i have swine flu, if it gets me a week a off work i'll have it.

ds2 neck still looks horrible, will put a picture on to show my bad parenting skills.

we finally have sun here, we have had mist and fog all week, with the fog horn going off coninually. but we can see the sky now.

got ds in doctor later on for the most alarming-sounding chesty cough you ever heard, and then dh appears, his work sent him home ill!
so snuck off to tesco with dd while I had the chance.

sick of feeling ill, and now my family is all ill! Ive finished my amoxycillin now. still feel like shite.

just put out a full line of washing and now it is bloody raining on it. Must watch weather before putting washing out!!

I missed the wimbledon final, it looks like it was brill. was working all day yesterday then had a work meal. good laugh.

i have to do a 1700 word essay on nuchal fold scanning for part of this ultrasound interview, now starting to read up, luckily i readv an article on it a few weeks ago so gonna find it up again.

ds2 neck a whole lot better now

we have sun then rain then sun then rain.....all day today, gave up with washing!

got a pair of £6 jeans today at tescos, in size 14!!! first time Ive been in a 14 since before dd was born! they are tight though, but they remind me not to pig out on the galaxy cookie bar I have calling to me in the fridge.

Local council playdays start today. Hoping it stays reasonably dry so I can take dd.

dd got me so today

she wanted her face painted, so stood in sodding queue for 45mins. got to front - she didn't want her face painted.

until we left the tent, then she wanted her face painted - GRRRRRR

made her go back to the end of the queue and wait for another 45 mins

So frustrating!

lol been there when ds1 was little, ds2 not introduced to face painting yet thankgod, spiderman face pain is a pain in the ass to get off !

well the butterflt is currently on my sofa, her t-shirt, her fleece and some is just clinging on to her face

did I mention there was also GLITTER????

DD1 getting a little better behaviour wise, ds becoming a nightmare to get to bed and stay in bed, with his nappy on. dd2 is the perfect baby you always wished for. I'm very tired, and very very slowly sorting things out in the house.

hullo Jenn, glad the Jennsters are all doing OK.

finished househunting now as we love two.. am offering on one today. not heard back about the other, the woman is a pain.

The one I am negotiating for now has an enormous garden and comes with 2 greenhouses and 4 types of sheds! all a bit decrepit but what the hell... one would make a lovely little playhouse for dd.
bedrooms are big, and room for loft conversion for 2 more bedrooms, but downstairs a bit small, needs a bit conservatory. Am determined to buy it..
can't stop thinking about it..
needs new boiler, kitchen and bathroom too. current bathroom suite is a violent shade of emerald green.

my friend is living with an ex-partner who she cant shift out of her house. he has a propensity for violence and is a big guy, she doesn't know what to do, the police can only help if he is actually violent

he is living there rent free so is not inclined to shift, and has probably taken some of her stuff to his mums, and has broken some of her things !

she has a new fella lined up but cant figure out how to get rid of the old one.

we both know we have to spilt up to move forward but its making that step, he went the other week but came home drunk and had only made up the road and sat and drunk all his jack daniels

i wanted to ring mr jenn but got a bit shy/nervous/felt silly ringing some one from the net!! after i tell ds1 not to talk to anyone on the net and here i sit talking to you lot, im a total hypocrit!(?sp)

im in two minds what to do about this ultrasound job, im going for a trial next week to do some obstetric scanning and see the nuchal fold scans being done. its been a long time scince i was a student so i have to get back into essay writing mode again.
i need to write 1700 words on the pros and cons of offering nuchal fold scanning as part of a routine scan now. and as i also havnt done much continued practice writing i have 4 years worth to catch up on, so might just make up some reflective accounts etc. i looked through my proffessional development folder and for some reason i seem to have done lots of work on dental xrays, which i hate doing, and have nothing to do with ultrasound!

actually i might start a thread on peoples opinions about the nuchal fold scans, get some ideas!

this all has to be in by next friday, how im going to write essays with ds2 hanging off my trousers i dont know
