Is there a particular spot/thread for people who have addictions?

Another thread has got me wondering if there is a place for me to post re suspected alcoholism. It's a big step to say this and i'd like to reach people with experience or 'in the know'.

There used to be a 'Dependant Drinkers & Alcoholics' thread on MN, but I haven't seen it in AC for ages.

I'm an alcoholic, with just over a year of recovery behind me. There are others on here, with longer periods of sobriety who I'm sure would be happy to talk if they see your posts as well.

Coming to terms with alcoholism is a huge step and it takes courage, so good on you!

Threads on alcoholism tend to get posted in the Health topic, so you could try to revive a recent thread, start your own new one or just continue to post here.
