Misdee just seen this I am thrilled for you all The oral thrush should make no difference my transplant meds have always made me prone to it but I think it is harmless but annoying.It will be a long night for you but keep us posted xxx

the GP askeed what would happen if he didnt get a transplant, my answer was quite simply 'he'll die'. i know the risks, and know that the odds are pretty good.

to the person who died, we are grateful for just even a chance of a normal life. xxxx

He will make it The transplant teams in this country are amongst the best in the world and are highly skilled When I had my 2nd transplant I was told that they are so skilled now it is virtually routine surgery and Harefield is one of the best.I know it must be hard for you but don't give up you have come so far Try and think of all the fun you will all have when he is back to normal

Hopefully, the person who died, their family gain a bit of comfort knowing they have helped someone else.
