Mae for me too - but you'll probably find other people would spell it as May if they had to write it down for you and that could be very annoying.

I know a Rosie-May. It sounds indecisive - like her mother couldn't decide whether she liked Rosie or May better.

Another vote for May. Mae sounds like she might be in the sex industry and it might not be her real name.

it is annoying when you have to spell the name out...dd is Lilly, and everyone always write Lily...now i would have spelt it Lily (easier and the original spelling) but i chose the name so the least i could do was let dp choose the spelling

may with sophie is very pretty
