Isle of Man vs Jersey

We are considering a move as a family (DP & I & DS aged 2 & 6) to either Isle of Man or Jersey. Has anyone lived in both? I have good knowledge of Jersey and housing qualifications so that isn't a problem, but know very little about Isle of Man (outside of a couple of work trips)and what it is like to actually live there.

Isle of Man cold and rainy. Jersey sunny and warm.
That would be my choice made!

Probably a bit late to post this but DH's family all live on the isle of Man. It is lovely and we considered living there but jobs proved a problem. It is pretty old fashioned which has it's pluses and minuses. Crime rates are very low (probably also true of Jersey I suppose),

I'd say a great place for young children but less good for teenagers maybe.
