We have been invited to SIL's first army ball in her current rank

Oh yes, we said, we'd love to come

then she announces it's a bloody 80's theme

What can we go as? Individuals or as 2s or a 4? The less garish the better (yeah I know stupid statement for an 80s theme!)

DP is a redhead, and me, SIL & BIL are all brunettes. I really don't want to go down the wig road if poss (I really don't want to be dressing up but bloody DP said yes before I could argue and tickets are bought already)
