today after school ( outside school) by someone he doesn't know. may have a broken nose - doctor at A&E can't tell until swelling goes down. phoned the police but they haven't been and i think its really rubbish.

it was justone of those run up and punch the shit out of someone things.

how come the police came immediatley he broke a window ( a thing, property) but haven't come for assault. am well pissed off - i tidied up and everything!

It's called 'happy slapping' - often videoed on camera phones. I don't think this incident sounds like that sort of thing though.

custardo: FWIW I'd get ds's face down the GP to have the injuries recorded in an official capacity IYSWIM. You may choose not to pursue this further now, but it might be needed in the future.

Custy really sorry this has happened to your ds, can't beleive the bloody police. Get him to the drs and get it photographed - by the time the police get round to doing anything he could be recovered!

It did make me smile you tidying up - I invite poeple round sometimes jsut to make me tidy up

the police still havne't been. i was out at a meeting lastnight and when i got hom dh sid they callednd siad they were nearly at ourdoor when tey had to arrest someone for affray - they couln't ignore it. they apologised and said they would come tonight.

that means my house has been tidy for 4 days now.

his face is ok - appart froma couple of scratches - but i did take himt o csulty so they will have records. i have an appt with ENT next weekt o see if his nose is broken ( they don't x ray apparently)

the mother of the brothers who were asking my son to get them drugs apparently was called into school ( it was the cousin of these brothers that punched my son...still with me?) and she went to my son and told him to stay away from her sons, just not for them to speak to each other, hang around with each other anything - my son said ok. bit pissed off about this she should have come to me.
