Bugaboo Cameleon handle broken today - how long for repair???

HI. My Bugaboo cameleon (bought it online from mothercare at end of june 2008, delivered july 4th 2008. Baby born early october 2008) so still under warranty.

The handle folding mechanism has broken today (a spring fell out the right side of the handlebar) and now it wont fold and cannot be pushed as the right hand side of the handle bar gives and bends.

I know the bugaboo warranty is 24 months, and the mothercare warranty is 12 months, but what should I do? Who am I better off dealing with??

Im desperate to have it in full working order asap, as I walk my eldest to nursery (she is back at nursery on 20th april) and I have no other stroller. My dd is 6 months and is still in the carrycot part as cannot sit up well at all.

I hope some of you mumsnetters can reassure me it will be repaired quickly but I have a horrible suspicion I am going to be left stuck without wheels..... or perhaps lent a horrible stroller from mothercare as a temporary measure!!! AARRGGHH!!!!

Well, considering the OP is more than a year old, I shoudl certainly hope the issue is fixed.
But bartek, you have been accused before (god bless me and my incredible memory, not to mention the search facility...)of coming to collect broken prams and then buggering off with them. So anyone considering this, proceed with caution Hmm

www.buggypitstop.co.uk - I used them and they are really professional and reasonably priced too. They cleaned my pushchair which now looks brand new. Highly recommend them.
