anyone with local knowledge of Cowes, IOW please?

We (the DCs and I) are coming to Cowes on monday to stay at Gurnard Pines. I can either go to Tesco now for provisions(saturday night, 8pm) by myself or go to a local supermarket on monday with the DCs.

What would you do?

There are no supermarkets in Cowes in the way that you will know them on the mainland. There is a small supermarket (Co op I think) and a Somerfields in Cowes, but if you want a larger one head into Newport (15 mins in the car from Gurnard Pines) where there is a Sainsbury, Morrison and large Aldi. There is a Tesco in Ryde (40-45 mins away).
