How can I dress like "Fame", and still keep my dignity ???

Hi, my sister is getting married soon and for her hen night in 6 weeks time she's said that we're dressing as Fame!
I've never even seen the film but I gather it's all lycra and leg walmers. The thought of that makes me shudder.
What could I wear that would not be too revealing but still look as if I've made the effort?
I'm 5 foot 6 and between a 12-14, so lycra is not going to be a good look.

You could go as Mr Shorofsky. You'd be well covered up then.

as you can wear long tshirts with leggings and legwarmers and back comb your hair wearing a head band! Loads of pink makeup and you are a winner!

Oh no, I don't fancy going as a man.
Although as a lst resort it could be tempting.

I think it has to clash a bit and be a bit gareish!

she has a longish dress on with leggings and legwarmers - she looks great!
