Mobile***** phones at music gigs .. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I must be getting very old... but I'm sorry to say a huge proportion of the people at the 'gig' we were at tonight seemed to have a major problem...

ie - they couldn't watch the band without texting, taking photos (on mobile) etc.

Instead of waving matchsticks/candles - it was f*cking mobile phones.

What happened to 'watching' a band?

I guess I have just got tooooo old.!

Ooooh you're so right. this really spoilt my enjoyment of watching Sarah McLachlan last year - some dozy woman just couldn't put her b**y mobile away. Between that and the constant moving around and talking to her friend next to her had my head turned!! Made me mad - did not pay £35 to watch her head move, hear her talk loudly and see her mob light up every two minutes. Was delighted when someone in front of her told her to shut-up - hadn't the nerve myself, but gee I felt like it!!

I have a problem with any unsolisited beeping/buzzing/ringing, ATM!

But at a gig? That would really irritate me!

but we left earlyish as we're both fluey...(and have very low tolerance for mobiles!!!!)
