I am about to spash out on me!

But, after everything going on the house and everyone else recently (past 3 years or so!), it just feels wrong IYKWIM?

Does anyone feel like this (guilty) when they are about to or have put their hand in their pocket for themselves rather than the children/house/DH/regular food shopping/children's friends birthdays/childrens birthdays, etc....?

what you gonna get?

Flossam · 20/04/2005 12:00

For a short moment! But since I qualified as a nurse I have had this little voice in my head saying 'Go on, you deserve it' Hence getting myself in to as much debt in the year after I qualified and had a full time job as I did in three years struggling through uni! I'm better now, but then DS arrived, and now I just can't help myself when it comes to him! You sound better than me though - so go for it!

yip splash away it feels even better if u buy something u want rather than something u actually need

sweetmonkey · 20/04/2005 12:10

go for it and treat yrself!!! im terrible for buying stuff, cannot stop myself.
no discipline
go for it

BadgerBadger · 20/04/2005 12:11

Starshaker, a bit of both. I really want them! I do need them. I could go for a cheaper option, or buy less in one go, but what's the point in that?! I mean, I want to splash out, I just can't quite do it!

starlover · 20/04/2005 12:18

Badgerbadger... what is it you're gonna buy?

starlover · 20/04/2005 12:18

definitely do it!

starshaker · 20/04/2005 12:39

buy a full outfit from undies to earings and anything else that takes ur fancy

BadgerBadger · 20/04/2005 12:49

Starshaker....I've bought several .

I don't feel quite as bad as I thought I would!

I've told DH it's consolation for me, for him losing his wedding ring this morning! (Though, TBH, I'm not really that bothered I am a baaaad person!)

What happens on Friday Starshaker?

Ambrosia I like that idea..... continual top ups might help me get used to it again . Can I do that and splash out though?!

MarsLady · 20/04/2005 13:04

Yes!

starlover · 20/04/2005 13:07

don't get too hopeful starshaker... I was in my maternity wear for a while still after DS was born!
I still looked like I was pregnant for a few weeks after!

starlover · 20/04/2005 13:08

badger... my train of thought is thus...

If you have the money... SPEND IT!
You only live once, and there is no point saving all your money... I don't wanna die with a ton of money in the bank, and having had nothing nice for myself!
Spend it while you can
