My Mum had a little bat in her house last night.She just let it out of the back door but could there be more in the house?

She had the gas board around yesterday fitting the new boiler and reckons that perhaps they've disturbed the bat.I'm just wondering if there could be more.Mum doesn't mind.In fact,she wished it Good Luck before setting it free!

I would have expected there to be more TBH. I am no expert but they don't tend to roost alone.

We've got bats in our loft - don't tend to seem them in the winter but see them lots on summer evenings.

I'd have thought she may have more than just the one.

Do remember they're protected so you have to go very carefully with them and warn anyone going in the loft that there may be bats there.

warn them? so as not to disturb them you mean?

There will be more than one and the warmer weather that happened a few days ago will have brought it out.
