Maybe it's the wine the Dh and I have drunk but we can't figure out the rules of the game from the back of the packet. Help?

You divide the cards between all the players, with a pile of spares if there are only 2 or 3 players.
You need to collect the 4 members of the families by asking 'Do you have Mr/Mrs/Master/Miss...'
You can only ask for someone if you already have a member of the same family in your hand.
If the person asked does have the card, they must hand it over and the same player continues. If the person asked doesn't have the card, they pick up one of the spare cards if there are any and their go finishes.
The winner is the person with the most complete families at the end of the game.
Does that make sense?

Thank you. A few more questions.
Does the person who's go it is pick up the spare card? Do they keeps asking if the other players have the cards s/he wants or has their go finished after one question?
Look forward to the reply. Ta

If you receive the card you ask for, you keep asking. Your turn finishes when you ask someone for a card that they don't have. You pick up a card from the spare pile at the end of your turn, having asked the wrong person for a card. I hope you enjoy the game!!

Thank you! We just drew a blank . We play table games on a Sunday evenings as we really are chilled by then and not in the mood for Thomas & his friends on the floor
