Or do we have seveeral months of no claims beore they just take a CCJ?

Basically dh paid a deposit on a car Saturday, invoice all done up they agreed to sort paintwork written on it.

Call yes6terday, theyy want$250 more on the price: dh says no.

They decided to reverse transaction but bank says not been done.

If it goes tits up is that theft or have we lost £200?

Yes, it's theft IMO. They can't just put the price up - well, they can say that they made a mistake and the price is higher, and refuse to sell it to you at the lower price, but they are not entitled to keep your money and the item they have not sold to you.

i know if you get a refund from a shop through a chip & pin type machine it can take up to 5 days, if they have done it like this they should have an authorisation code on the reciept, ring them in the morning and ask for that? if you have/know anyone with a fax machine get then to fax proof that they have refunded money

Thats what I thought

My theory is togo topolice then DH sit outside in deck chair warning off allcustomers until they p[ay up (Dh will be wuite happy with this and its a positive in his job to be like that!)

They said they ahd underestimated the cost of work on the car. Boo bloody hoo!
