Amazing isn't it?
How is the family, the man himself and the new babe?
I miss hearing about events in Misdee household.

expatinscotland · 15/02/2009 23:07

that has gone fast!

how's life been treating you? can't imagine, it's busy enough with three of 'em!

Dropdeadfred · 15/02/2009 23:07

yes, update us!

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 15/02/2009 23:10

And wow, 4 years later, a new heart and baby.

fryalot · 15/02/2009 23:17

I miss seeing you around on here misdee

but I'm bloody glad that the reason you're not around on here so much is because Peter has a new heart and you both have a new baby!

misdee · 16/02/2009 08:47

yes we have lives now lol.

Peter is doing really well, a few odd niggles (may have raynards syndrome, but thats minor compared to heart failure lol), and is hoping to get back to work very soon, if the recession doesnt affect his job chances.

DD4 is doing well, was born at 9lb 2oz and looks massive now at 3months+, but actually only weighs 11lb 12oz lol. she lookls so diffwerent to the other girls who were all born with dark hair and brown eyes, she has blondey/reddish hair and blue eyes still.

dd3 is starting school in sept she is really funny and cheeky.

dd2 is steaming ahead in school, now in year 1, but working with the top end of year 2 for reading, and moving there for maths after half term as well.

dd1 has been doing loads with the school choir and has a comp soon i think. and is going on her first residental trip in may overnight.

dd4

dd1

dd3

dd2 = dd4

all of them

dd3 looks like you in the photographs I have seen.

You must be beyond proud!

ChipButty · 16/02/2009 08:57

How your life has changed Misdee. Lots of luck to Peter on the job front.

Your girls are lovely btw.

ABloke · 16/02/2009 09:11

How things can change for the better. Great thread Misdee. Your girls are lovely.

Best of luck to you and Peter for the future years to come.

SoupDragon · 16/02/2009 09:14

Your dd3 can't possibly be starting school in Sept!!

Whilst before I'd always known about transplants, Peter's really brought it home about just how utterly amazing it really is

snorkle · 16/02/2009 09:58

How amazing misdee - it really doesn't seem that long does it? I don't think I'll ever forget the tension that night, wondering if it really was going to the 'the one' this time - and the relief when it was. And I don't really know you guys at all (but feel as though I do now of course). Best wishes to all.

DanJARMouse · 16/02/2009 10:04

Serena - starting school?! REALLY?! Oh bless her, she is just so adorable - well they all are!

Glad you are all well, love from me and mine to you and yours xx

fryalot · 16/02/2009 10:07

shall we all have a "what were you doing when you heard about Peter's new heart"?

I was in the kitchen and got a text from another mumsnetter.

LilRedWG · 16/02/2009 10:08

What a great update!

DanJARMouse · 16/02/2009 10:18

I was on MN.... and stayed up until I knew for sure.

I then text lots of MNers.

Misdee is adorable, Peter is a legend and the girls are just oh so cute.

ScummyMummy · 16/02/2009 10:22

It's amazing that Peter and you've come through so much and I'm so pleased that he's doing so well. The pictures of the girsls are lovely.

psychomum5 · 16/02/2009 10:28

oh they are all looking so big and grown-up, and utterly gorgeous

DD4 has eyes like my DD2 and DS2. I never thought I would have blue-eyed children........both DH and I are hazel, (me verging on green when upset or angry), but none of mine have our colour.........the other 3 have deep chocolate brown eyes.

I am amazed at how quickly the time has gone. when was his actual transplant?? and to think you now have a new baby too!

Kathyis6incheshigh · 16/02/2009 10:31

Gosh the one on the left (sorry, don't know your dds' names) looks so much like Peter in that 'pink' photo you posted once.

What a lovely family - so happy you are all doing so well. xxxxxx

Flamesparrow · 16/02/2009 10:34
