OK, cheering up tactics - I always thing spring and summer is a cheaper time of the year, especailly if you have chkldren, as you can have fun outside more easily. Sunshine is free, there's gardening, parks and picnics - none of this has to be expensive. Spring is sprung, and warm weather is on its way.

Except that the weather forecast this morning was warning that more snow is on its way!
