Can I have your ideas on how a couple that have 3 dc and been together 20years could get married in a cheap,laidback but meaningful way

V,v,v (zero if poss)small budget although the food and drink would be paid for.

Decent food and pretty location only stipulations,pref in Devon or Cornwall but open to anywhere within reason.

We're all out of ideas but the more laidback the better,zero stress.

I was about to suggest a BBQ on the beach!

could you find a restaurant on the beach that would mean you could be outside if weather allowed and inside if it was miserable.

The other wedding that I have been to that was lovely was a posh picnic in Greenwich park,
we each made up our own gorgeous picnic baskets big rugs and a couple of guitars, it was a beautiful day.

We did civil ceremony in local museum and then went to local Italian restaurant for 13 family and friends (including us and DD).
Next day we had a picnic in an English Heritage place that has some indoor spaces (follies etc!). We provided champagne and cake (a gooey chocolate one that DH, DD and I made) and everyone brought their own picnic and outdoor games.
It was lovely
