Mothers Day

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mothers Day. Isn't it amazing, I'm the only one up in our house! By the way, did everyone remember to change the clocks? I got up early becuase our M. Day arrangements are really complicated and I need to tidy up and get stuff ready for school tomorrow before we go! The family are visiting a MIL, an ex-MIL, a friend who's like a Mum to us and then my Mum (who's my natural Mum, my adopted Mum died 17 years ago). Just a thought who everyone who's lost their Mum, whatever people say it never really stops hurting and I send you LOL and thoughts.

Home madecard from DS, flowers from DP - very happy!

And I got Friday evening, all of Saturday and Sunday off as my parents were looking after DS. Had a very relaxing weekend, massage on Saturday - must admit that DP and I have almost forgotten how to relax - lies in, a walk down the Kings Road, lunch, lots of coffee breaks and the spending of too much money on a sofa !

Just spoken to parents and they have survived - dropping him off this afternoon. Though as my dad said - 2 to 1 is fine, not quite so sure about 2 to 2 !! DS2 due in 2 months....

And, as its my birthday today I am getting taken out for dinner tonight - no pressie though, think our new sofa is quite enough.

got a card from dd amde at nursery, a lie in, and then dh had to go to work, so spent the day with friends with a pub lunch and a walk in the park.....DH only got back very alte but he did try to get me some flowers, but teh shops were all closed (so he says....)
