Do the NHS (or any charities) lend out wheelchairs?

dp and I are taking his mum to the south coast for a day soon, and it would be really helpful if we could borrow a wheelchair for the weekend as she can't walk long distances. Is there a charity that loans wheelchairs? Or even the NHS?

Contact the Red Cross, I know they do lend some equipment. I don't know hw to contact them though.
