Oh b******s, looks like DH is losing his job!

As of next week. He is an IT contractor. Til today it looked like he would get an extension of at least 3 months. Rather worrying to say the least....Not sure if this is the place to post. Will there be a forum for redundancy news?

I feel for you.
My DH was made redundant last August, he was only given 3 days notice. It was a very worrying time.

He has found out today that he will get another month after all - but that will probably be it.

We went through this a few years ago, you have my sympathies.

It's bloody scary isn't it, my BIL lost his job last week, all he got was a phone call telling him not to come in, they were closing that day.

All I keep hearing is people are losing their homes and jobs. I have never known anything like it

Sorry to hear this - at least you have a little bit of warning but it doesn't help really.
