I have a 26 month old a seven month old and we're starting to think about another little one to add to the clan. Whilst the house will be a tight squeeze, we'll manage. We will however need a new car. Can anyone recommend a make/model of car that will be big enough to accomodate three child seats plus all the bags and prams and favourite toys thats seem to be an everyday tavel essential!! We would rather go down the route of an audi avent or similar if it was big enough, but if we did have to get a people carrier type wagon - what can anyone recommend? Any advice appreciated.

We have a Seat Alhambra and absolutely love it. I've got friends who have had the Alhambra, the Sharon and the Galaxy - both swear by the former. It depends on your budget and your preference for badges though.

We've got a Citroen Picasso. You can get 3 car seats in the back i believe and the boot is huge

I had a citreon berlingo multispace which was fantastic, could easily fit 3 car seats in the back, and has sliding doors which were very handy.
Boot it massive too and loads of over head lockers for the dc's to fill with crap
Also fab reviews an very cheap to run, the 2 lt diesel comes out top.
Only just swapped it for an 8 seater as has baby number 4 is twins
