Car accident a week ago and whiplash isn't healing anywhere near as fast as I want it to.

DH is doing his best, but he has never been very good at the whole childcare AND cleaning dishes AND feeding us all etc. I mean, I'm not great, but I am better than him iyswim.

He is wiped out from work, coming home and sorting them, then doing all the getting up in the night too.

At the end of the day I am wiped out from just staying upright and Flameboy.

So - this afternoon, I either curl up in bed whilst the dude is asleep, and hopefully be capable of functioning for doing dinner, children etc with DH when he gets in OR I attack the kitchen/house this afternoon and definitely be broken and need to pass out completely when DH gets in.

I don't know what is best to do - get a proper run at it all now so it is a clean slate for him to then have to do everything else, or leave it in the mess it is in, and sort of fix it together later (it will only be "sort of" later)

Help!

Or buy me a house cleaning service

The cleaner idea isn't a bad one if you could scrape together the funds. Just to tide you over for a bit until you're better?
If you are feeling really crap, I'd curl up this afternoon. You've both got the weekend to try and knock the house into some sort of shape. Wish you better x

rest and do it together later.
Even if you actually get less done overall that way, it will boost morale (both of you) more doing it together

Can you afford a one off spring clean type service from a cleaning company?

Call in help from a friend to take the baby for the day so you can rest more and do more later?

Get your friends/mum/mil to pitch in and help you clean?

Thank you - going to go curl up.

No way of affording cleaner, we need the money for new car etc
