many congratulations. Are you doing anthing to celebrate?

LGJ · 01/04/2005 09:11

JT

Congratulations, we have only been married 13 years and there have been times, when it would have been easier to walk away.

So Lord knows there must have been hard times in 33 years. You must have a fabulous sense of achievement.

I hope you are going out tonight.

Twiglett · 01/04/2005 09:12

Happy Anniversary Jools and MrJools

married april fool's day - that's fabulous

what you up to today then?

JoolsToo · 01/04/2005 09:16

thanks everyone - as it happens Mr JT is in Manchester tonight (he's on cover - so can't even have celebratory drink!) and I'm in the Lakes! but he's back tomorrow morning and no doubt we'll celebrate with a walk up a mountain followed by a hot bath and a slap up meal - the simple things in life.

Today I shall be spending his money - off to Kendal shopping with my bestest friend of 37 years - I'm a stayer

Wow Congratulations! Me and dp were supposed to be getting married tomorrow! had to postone again! We've been engaged for 8 years now! At this rate we'll never reach our 33rd anniversary!

suedonim · 01/04/2005 13:41

Congratulations, Mr&Mrs Joolstoo!! It'll be our 33rd anniversary later this year.

lilibet · 01/04/2005 13:49

Congratulations to you both

so far dh and I have managed 42 days!!

marthamoo · 01/04/2005 13:53

Congratulations JT! 33 years is no mean achievement.

Stockport Registry Office must have been barely built, shiny and smelling of fresh paint in 1972. It was fairly knackered when we got married there in 1997

Gwenick · 01/04/2005 13:54

Congratulations - we've managed just over 5yrs now.

My parents have done 33 1/2yrs and my grandparents would have celebrated their 67th this year had my grandmother not passed away last October.

Congratulations! Did you know ...
"33rd anniversary: Amethyst
The Victorians were fond of making rings with a message conveyed in the first initial of each jewel. So a ring with a Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz on it spelt 'dearest'. "
That was from the confetti website.
Your plan of walking + shopping sounds great to me!

jampots · 01/04/2005 17:30

Happy Anniversary Jools (and Mr Jools).

We celebrated 7 years on Tuesday - who said it wouldnt last!

oooggs · 01/04/2005 18:01

My Mum & Dad married April Fools day 1971 (34yrs) and DH parents married April Fools Day 1968 (but divorced now)

Popular day to get married.
