Has anyone taken a baby to the cinema?

I heard there was a cinema in Clapham (South London) that has special mother and baby showings. Is this true? Does anyone know the name of the cinema? Are there any other baby-friendly cinemas? My baby in 3.5 months old and would feed/sleep happily through a film. Any advice?

yup! The joys of breastfeeding. If the baby cried I'd put him/her in. Fab! Couldn't do that with the DTs though. Woulda scared half the population with my double feeding. No discretion there lol

I go most Tuesdays to the Big Scream showing at East Grinstead. I think most Picturehouse cinemas do them here
I tend to go and see whatever is on regardless as I just love the whole novelty of getting to the cinema.

Hi - I go to baby cinema regularly, either at Clapham Picture House (Thursdays) or Brixton Ritzy (Fridays). It's great. The babies seem surprisingly ok with it - whether they are one month or one year. You can't go once your baby reaches one. You can feel totally relaxed if your baby is crying, as some others will be too. They can crawl around at the front or in the aisles. The films are geared towards the grownups. You can't take the buggy in the room with you so take a sling if necessary. Free coffee and croissants too!
