Well - I must be nesting !

Anyone know where I can buy a cast iron hinged curtain pole for my front door ? Not sure what they're called - was thinking "portiere" but I think they rise - and I just want a straight forward hinged job !! Have seen one in friends house - but it came with her house - so no idea where from ! Someone suggested blacksmiths - but no luck yet !

Thanks !!

They are called portiere rods & they do rise to lift the curtain as you come in. If you just want a hinged arm then try a Dormer arm. Try WWW.price-regency.co.uk.

If you need anymore help get back to me!

Art room did them - they came with a really heavy red velvet curtain. They have been taken over by Scotts of Stowe, so no website at the moment, but you'll surely get one of the catalogues in a paper soon
