I've perked mine up with a simple spray of Flash with Bleach. Spray on, leave for a minute or so and wipe over with a panscrub or sponge and it should come up bright. worked for me

I thought we'd have to fork out to have them re-painted, but the flash did the job.

Hate glossing with a passion, I'm totally crap at it. Having said that one of us (dh & i) will have to get the paintbrush out as our window sills need redoing.

Given that I've just spent 2.5 hours slogging in the garden i think it's only fair that I should nominate DH for the glossing
