Going it alone, what benefits am I entitled to.

My marriage is on the skids and decided that I want dh to move out. We have one child aged 3.
I am a SAHM and he works income £21k. The main reason he will not leave is because he says that his wages will not cover 2 properties so we are stuck together. I know that he would be happy to leave if he had somewhere else to go and family or friends is not an option.

What am I entitled to, does anyone know?

Appreciate your help

Best bet is to contact the local Citizens Advice and go in to have a chat with them.

they may be able to tell you about any schemes you can qualify for.

Unfortnately from what I have encountered before if you and hubby are living under the same roof and he is still supporting you and the baby then I'm not sure you will qualify for any extra help at all.

Concerned, there is an advice line at the end of this link to Gingerbread, which is a lone parents organisation. They may be able to help.
