A kite (every time we went to the seaside)

A proper metal slinky

A really big unexpected romantic gesture - just one !

Was just wondering what our kids will be typing on a thread like this in 30 years' time...

suedonim · 24/03/2005 18:37

I remember my 10yo dd coming home from school and telling me that some of the children in her school didn't have a home computer and some of them had never been to Disneyland but she was the only one with neither a computer or a visit to Disneyland under her belt. What a tragic tale! I'm pleased to report that both requirements have since been fulfilled.

Bay City Roller trousers, but my Mum refused to give in to the pester power. I will always thank her for ensuring there are no photos of me in those awful things!

Tessiebear · 24/03/2005 18:57

A Dog. Mum would never let me have one as she said they are a tie and too much work for her.
We have got a Labradour so OUR boys can grow up with a dog - I find him " a complete tie and too much extra work for me!!!"

Johnny Depp.

But I haven't given up hope!

Fimbo · 24/03/2005 20:54

As a child - a doll's pram of my own instead of my cousin's handmedown.

Now - an eternity ring, whenever we have had spare money to buy one, something like the washing machine etc always breaks down, and a four bed house.................

A pony - every birthday for years I'd look out of my bedroom window over to the field opposite my house expecting a pony with a big pink bow around its neck.

Sigh!

tallulah · 25/03/2005 09:28

knee-high white boots (feet too wide)

Tiny Tears

A Girls World styling head
