and measure her from waist to knee. Im making a skirt for my niece, and it looks too short. I don't want to ask my sister as its a surpise (that I can sew lol), but don't want to send them a mini skirt ;0

my dd is 13" from waistband to middle of kneecap, but she is tall for her age.

mine is 9.5", a bit of a titchy one! But mini skirts look cute on toddlers...
