Army Wives

Any Army wives out there - are you worried about the injections dhs are having for the Gulf War (supposedly imminent) - dh ahs had smallpox, anthrax and the rest but not the anti nerve agent ones yet (or I haven't heard yet as the phones are now shut down!.

I want another baby (no 3) does anyone know ANYTHING to substantiate the rumours and tv documnetories about abnomalities in gulf war veteran babies.

Also are any of you really worried about dhs over there?

hmb no my dp is home, he's shoreside at the minute teaching thank goodness. His old ship has gone out to the Gulf and his best friend is out there (he's in the RFA). Luckily he's in UAE and miles from the action.

I have just read this thread and have had a reality check ...
I moaned and moaned at my DH today about the fact that he was playing cricket again today (4th Saturday in a row) ... I feel small and very selfish now and I am thankful that my DH is not in the Army/RAF/Navy so that he CAN play cricket every week.
I am so sorry for all of you who have DHs who are involved in this war ... it must be really hard for you and your little ones. My thoughts and cyber hugs are going out to you at this awfully hard time.
