Anyone else found Boots online a bit, well, rubbish?

I bought a pushchair, car seat and cot from them on Thursday (bargain price) and paid for Saturday delivery; was supposed to arrive this morning. It didn't. When I rang the guy in customer services was v nice and helpful but could not actually tell me why the order hadn't been dispatched, only that it hadn't. He has re-arranged for next Saturday and hopefully we'll be getting some kind of small refund (certainly for the Saturday delivery charge!). Now I'm worried we're just not going to get the stuff. I'm 31 weeks pregnant so waiting another week won't make any difference (I hope!) but I find i'm more upset than the situation warrants - probably hormones.

Anyway has anyone else had problems with Boots? Should I be worried?!

I would not give up hope - there systems seems to be very poor - I was also told not coming, stuck in the system, may never come - having paid for specific date delivery - they told me the only way around this for them to place another order - and for me to pay again - unfortunately prices had gone up so wanted me to pay extra - and then phone them and ask for a refund to the original price when it arrived - seriously - long story cut short - first order then randomly arrived and was told that the system would not allow them to cancel the 2nd order - so now have paid twice have one order and they insist I have to pay for and receive a duplicate and then return it if it left when out or refuse it - when it arrived it wasn't even totally correct - only a small error but summed it up really. Of course you should have refund for your postage but I would also ask them what else they would do for you on price given how put out you have been...I did!

blimey! If we eventually get the stuff I will try to get a bigger refund. It's weird because they seem very friendly.. just a bit crap!
